'Photography'  is from Greek  origins meaning 'light' and 'drawing'; drawing with light.  A challenge that I have been trying to come to terms with, from the manual cameras and flashguns with guide number tables, to the fully automatic digital equipment that deceives everyone into believing that  there is nothing to taking a picture.

 

I have been doing this for a long time and I know (and my wife knows also) there is a great deal of effort (and some luck) required  in order to  produce a photograph that is worthy of comment.

 

When I get the chance I still persevere .

 

I am looking for projects within the community and helping like minded  people  who aspire to pushing the frontiers.
